CWA Young Leaders Workshop 4/5 April 2009

“Fully sick”, along with confidence booster, awesome, challenging, educational and fantastic were how the attendees described the recent Young Leaders Workshop.

Hosted by the Country Women’s Association, participants travelled from Esperance, Busselton, Bunbury, Merredin, Boyup Brook, York and Perth to attend this workshop, the twelfth year of the programme.

The variety of challenging activities included team building, communication skills, public speaking, goal setting, indoor rock climbing and defensive driving plus the bonus of making some great new friendships.

All participants were encouraged and able to push themselves to new levels through physical challenges, overcoming a fear, by working as a team and completing tasks outside their comfort zone.
