We value our members’ efforts, initiatives and passion. The Association honours those members who have gone beyond ‘the call of duty’ to deliver exceptional service to fellow members, branches and those people and communities that we help.

The various Awards include:

Loyal Service Badge:  A Loyal Service badge is an award for at least 10 years of loyal service to the Association.  Recommendations are received by the nominee’s branch.

Honour Badge:  An Honour Badge is an award for at least 10 years of outstanding service to the Association. Recommendations are received by the nominee’s branch or from the State Management Committee.

Honorary Life Membership:  The highest award of the Association is an Honorary Life Membership.  The nominee must belong to only one branch and have voting rights in that branch. This is awarded in recognition of at least 10 years outstanding service to the Association.  The initial recommendation is by a branch to the State Management Committee (SMC) and then if passed by the SMC with a unanimous vote, is sent to the all branches for approval where a 75% majority branch vote is required.

60 Years of Service:  The Association presents a framed certificate to the member in recognition and appreciation for reaching 60 years of service.

70 Years of Service:  The Association presents a framed certificate to the member in recognition and appreciation for reaching 70 years of service.
