Statewide Fundraising

Statewide fundraising occurs every second year or as directed by State Conference.  Prior to the fundraising year, the format and the project to which the funds are to be allocated is decided by members through State Conference.

The Statewide Fundraising Project for 2018-2019 was for the Australian Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.They were delighted to have been chosen to be the recipient of CWA’s fundraising program. “We are truly thrilled! 2019:  A total of $50,000 was raised for the Australian Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.  All CWA Branches across Western Australia were involved in raising the money over 12 months through branch and community activities. The cheque was presented to Enzo Sirna AM, Chairman of the Foundation by State President, Heather Allen on the Opening Night of the 95th State Conference of CWA of WA Inc.

Past Statewide Fundraising Projects have included:

2016:  Motor Neurone Disease Association of WA (Inc) and Motor Neurone Disease Research Insitute:  Amount Raised:  $80,000
